This bill establishes the National Manufacturing Advisory Council within the Department of Commerce to support the U.S. manufacturing sector. The council must advise Commerce about global and domestic manufacturing trends and threats to the manufacturing sector in the United States, including on matters such as supply chain interruptions, logistical challenges, and technological changes affecting the manufacturing base.
