H.R. 1042 — Project Turnkey Act

This section establishes the short title of the Act as the “Project Turnkey Act.”

This section revises the definition of “qualifying individual or family” under the Project Turnkey Program to include a “youth experiencing homelessness” as defined in section 38723 of the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act, 34 U.S.C. 11279. (Thus, eligible entities may use Project Turnkey funds to assist youth who meet the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act definition of homelessness.)
