H.R. 1081 — Preventing SBA Assistance from Going to China Act

This section establishes the short title of the Act as the “Preventing SBA Assistance from Going to China Act.”

This section prohibits a concern from being treated as a small business concern under the Small Business Act if it is either located and incorporated in the People’s Republic of China or has more than 25 percent of its voting stock owned by affiliates that are citizens of, or organized under the laws of, the People’s Republic of China. (Thus, such concerns would be ineligible for small business status and the federal programs and preferences tied to that status.)
