H.R. 1143 — Medicare IVIG Access Enhancement Act of 2025

This section provides the short title of the Act as the “Medicare IVIG Access Enhancement Act of 2025.”

This section expands Medicare coverage of in-home intravenous immune globulin (IVIG) administration to include, beginning January 1, 2027, treatment of chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) and multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN), in addition to primary immune deficiency diseases. As background, Medicare currently covers certain home infusion services for beneficiaries with primary immune deficiency disease; this change adds two additional diagnosed neurologic conditions to that benefit. The section also authorizes the Secretary of Health and Human Services to vary payment amounts for IVIG administration, through notice-and-comment rulemaking, depending on whether the service is furnished for primary immune deficiency disease, CIDP, or MMN.
