H.R. 1250 — To require the imposition of sanctions with respect to Ansarallah and its officials, agents, or affiliates for acts of international terrorism.

This section directs the President to designate Ansarallah, also known as the Houthi movement, as a foreign terrorist organization under section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1189) not later than 30 days after enactment. It also requires the President, not later than 30 days after making that designation, to submit to the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and the House Committee on Foreign Affairs a determination on whether Abdul Malik al-Houthi, Abd al-Khaliq Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and Abdullah Yahya al-Hakim are officials, agents, or affiliates of Ansarallah.
