H.R. 1303 — Protecting America’s Seniors’ Access to Care Act

This section establishes the short title as the “Protecting America’s Seniors’ Access to Care Act.”

This section prohibits the Secretary of Health and Human Services from implementing, administering, or enforcing the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services final rule published on May 10, 2024, titled “Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Minimum Staffing Standards for Long-Term Care Facilities and Medicaid Institutional Payment Transparency Reporting” (89 Fed. Reg. 40876), or any substantially similar regulation, beginning on the date of enactment. (Thus, the federal minimum staffing standards for long-term care facilities and the Medicaid institutional payment transparency reporting requirements in that rule would not take effect.)
