H.R. 1341 — DRILL Now Act

This section provides the short title of the Act as the “Denying Regulatory Interference with Landowners and Legislatures Now Act” or the “DRILL Now Act.”

This section limits the Susquehanna River Basin Commission, the Delaware River Basin Commission, and the Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin from finalizing, implementing, or enforcing any hydraulic fracturing regulation issued under authority other than that of the State in which the regulation would apply. (Thus, the commissions may not regulate hydraulic fracturing in those river basins unless the regulation is based on the relevant State’s authority, notwithstanding the Susquehanna River Basin Compact, the Delaware River Basin Compact, or the Potomac River Basin Compact.)
