H.R. 1375 — To amend the Small Business Act with respect to the maximum additional loan amount for certain disaster loans, and for other purposes.

This section increases the maximum additional loan amount for certain disaster loans under the Small Business Administration’s disaster loan program to 30 percent (from 20 per centum) of the amount otherwise authorized. As background, section 7(b) of the Small Business Act authorizes the Small Business Administration to make disaster loans to small business concerns, homeowners, and renters to repair or replace property damaged by a declared disaster.
