H.R. 1603 — Repeal CFPB Act

This section repeals the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010, which established the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) to protect consumers from unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices in connection with consumer financial products or services. (Thus, the CFPB is eliminated, and all provisions of law amended or repealed by the Act are restored or revived as if the Act had not been enacted.)
