H.R. 1634 — ThinkDIFFERENTLY About Disability Employment Act

This section directs the Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator, in consultation with the Chair of the National Council on Disability, to (1) provide assistance to individuals with disabilities seeking to become entrepreneurs or self-employed; (2) help such individuals find employment at small business concerns; and (3) assist small business concerns with hiring individuals with disabilities and addressing related accessibility issues. The section further requires the Administrator to carry out these activities through one or more memoranda of understanding or agreements, conduct related outreach and education, and submit to Congress a report on such activities within two years of enactment—including descriptions of implementation, achievements, technical expansion opportunities, and future plans.
