H.R. 1801 — Employer Participation in Repayment Act

This section makes permanent the exclusion from gross income for employer payments of up to $5,250 annually toward an employee's qualified student loan principal or interest under educational assistance programs (IRC §127), which previously applied only to payments made before January 1, 2026. The change applies to payments made after the date of enactment.
