H.R. 1925 — Emerging Digital Identity Ecosystem Report Act of 2025

This section directs the Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration to submit to the House Committee on Homeland Security and the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, not later than 180 days after enactment, a report on the current state of digital identity ecosystems and the homeland security value of emerging digital identity ecosystems in the transportation sector (including benefits and risks), and how such ecosystems may better protect homeland security and increase U.S. competitive advantage. The report must include, to the maximum extent practicable, perspectives from the private sector and state, local, tribal, and territorial governments.
