H.R. 1960 — Simplifying Veterans Assistance Act of 2025

This section directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to make publicly available on a Department website guidance and best practices for entities seeking grants under the comprehensive services program for homeless veterans (i.e., grants to provide case management, outreach, and health care services to homeless veterans) and, after announcing a funding notice for such grants and before the application deadline, to offer at least two online information sessions. Each session must (1) last at least one hour; (2) include an opportunity for participants to ask questions about the grant application process; (3) explain specific language in the grant application; and (4) provide information on other sources for grants and application assistance.
