H.R. 2059 — To prohibit the issuance of licenses for the exportation of certain defense articles to the United Arab Emirates, and for other purposes.

This section prohibits the President from selling or authorizing a license for the export of covered defense articles under the Arms Export Control Act to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), or any UAE agency or instrumentality, beginning on the date of enactment until the President certifies to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations that the UAE is not providing materiel support to the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan. Covered defense articles include articles listed under Categories I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, XIV, XVI, XVII, or XVIII of the United States Munitions List (22 C.F.R. pt. 121).
