H.R. 2093 — To amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act with respect to permitting terms, and for other purposes.

This section revises maximum durations for NPDES permits issued by approved state programs to 10 years for permits issued to a state or municipality (from 5 years) and 5 years for permits issued to any other person. The section also makes technical and conforming amendments to provisions on combined sewer overflow controls, including changes to internal cross-references and capitalization.
