H.R. 2174 — Paycheck Protection Act

This section prohibits (1) federal agencies from deducting labor organization dues, fees, or political contributions from employee pay by rewriting 5 U.S.C. 7115 (previously permitted upon voluntary written assignment); and (2) the U.S. Postal Service from making such deductions by rewriting 39 U.S.C. 1205 (previously permitted upon written assignment irrevocable for one year). It makes conforming changes to the tables of sections for both chapters.
