H.R. 2354 — Restoring Temporary to TANF Act

This section requires states receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) block grants to expend at least 25% of the grant amount on core work activities—work supports, education and training, apprenticeships, non-recurring short-term benefits, work activities as defined in section 407(d), and case management to assist individuals in developing an individual responsibility plan—effective October 1, 2026.
