“To establish clear and consistent biological definitions of male and female.”
No CRS summary available for this bill.
This section establishes definitions of "sex," "male," "female," and related terms (i.e., boy, father, girl, man, mother, woman) in a new section 9 of chapter 1, title 1, U.S. Code, for interpreting any Act of Congress or federal ruling, regulation, or interpretation. It defines sex as a natural person's immutable biological classification as male or female, determined at conception by reproductive system (male for sperm production; female for ova production); defines gender identity as subjective and not a basis for federal identification in place of sex; and specifies boy and girl as minor human males or females, man and woman as adult human males or females, and father and mother as male or female parents.
