H.R. 2451 — Deerfield River Wild and Scenic River Study Act of 2025

This section designates the Deerfield River in Massachusetts and Vermont—including the North, South, East, and West Branches and major tributaries (Green River, North River, South River, Clesson Brook, Chickley River, Cold River, Gulf Brook, Bog Brook, and Dunbar Brook)—for potential addition to the national wild and scenic rivers system (as new subsection (a)(147)). It further directs the Secretary of the Interior to complete the study and submit a report to the appropriate congressional committees not later than three years after funds are made available (as new subsection (b)(24)).
