H.R. 2560 — Lifespan Respite Care Reauthorization Act of 2025

This section revises the definition of family caregiver under the Lifespan Respite Care Program (i.e., grants to states for respite care services providing temporary relief to caregivers of children or adults with special needs) to include an unpaid family member, foster parent, or another unpaid individual (from unpaid adult) who provides in-home monitoring, management, supervision, or treatment of such individuals; and (2) extends the program's authorization of appropriations through FY2029 (from FY2024).
