H.R. 2631 — Protecting Gold Star Spouses Act of 2025

This section appropriates, for each fiscal year after FY2024, such sums as necessary to make payments under the Coast Guard Retired Serviceman’s Family Protection Plan and Survivor Benefits Plan (i.e., annuity programs for eligible survivors of deceased Coast Guard retirees), at the rate for operations and under the terms and conditions provided by the most recent full-year appropriations law for such plans. Upon enactment of a subsequent full-year appropriation for the plans or a general Coast Guard appropriations bill (whether or not providing for the plans), expenditures under this section are charged to that appropriation, and funds provided by this section cease to be available.
