H.R. 2881 — COAST Anti-Drilling Act of 2025

This section prohibits the Secretary of the Interior from issuing any lease or authorization for the exploration, development, or production of oil, natural gas, or other minerals in four outer Continental Shelf planning areas—(1) North Atlantic, (2) Mid-Atlantic, (3) South Atlantic, and (4) Straits of Florida—as depicted in the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management's 2024–2029 National OCS Oil and Gas Leasing Proposed Final Program (88 Fed. Reg. 67798, Oct. 2, 2023). The prohibition applies notwithstanding any other provision of law.
