H.R. 3014 — To amend title 38, United States Code, to expand the authority of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to make grants to entities that furnish services to homeless veterans.

This section expands the services for which the Secretary of Veterans Affairs may make grants to eligible entities serving homeless veterans by adding (5) assistance in obtaining VA-administered benefits and (6) assistance in obtaining and coordinating other benefits under federal, state, or local law or from private nonprofits or consumer cooperatives. It further modifies grant criteria to specify that eligible facility projects include conversion of units to permanent housing.
