H.R. 3025 — Expanding Access to Fertility Care for Servicemembers and Dependents Act

This section establishes entitlement to assisted reproductive services under the TRICARE program for members of the armed forces (including reserve components) performing active service and their dependents. Coverage applies without regard to (1) relation to a service-connected disability, (2) presence of a serious illness or injury from a service-connected disability, (3) ability to conceive a pregnancy or reproduce naturally after an appropriate period (i.e., at least one year, or shorter if determined by a health care provider based on medical history, age, or physical findings), or (4) the member's or dependent's sex, gender, sexual orientation, or marital status. Assisted reproductive services include intravaginal, intracervical, and intrauterine insemination; in-vitro fertilization; cryopreservation of embryos, eggs, or sperm; and other services as determined appropriate by the Secretary of Defense.
