H.R. 3047 — To require the Director of the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency for the District of Columbia and the Director of the Pretrial Services Agency for the District of Columbia to reside in the District of Columbia.

This section requires the Director of the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency for the District of Columbia (CSOSA)—which supervises adult and juvenile offenders under the jurisdiction of the D.C. Superior Court and U.S. Parole Commission—and the Director of the Pretrial Services Agency for the District of Columbia—which provides pretrial release and supervision services for D.C. courts—to be a resident of the District of Columbia. The requirement applies to individuals first appointed to either position on or after the date of enactment.
