H.R. 3064 — BE GONE Act

This section expands the definition of aggravated felony under the Immigration and Nationality Act to include sexual assault and aggravated sexual violence as a new subparagraph (V). (As background, aggravated felonies trigger mandatory deportation for noncitizens, bar most forms of immigration relief, and affect eligibility for naturalization and other benefits; thus, convictions for these offenses will now carry those immigration consequences.)
