H.R. 3333 — MORE Nurses Act

This section directs the National Advisory Council on Nurse Education and Practice to (1) examine and report on U.S. nursing workforce capacity, including trends, education capacity, causes of the shortage, and federal policies to bolster nursing education and the workforce; (2) review findings from other entities on the nursing shortage; (3) identify federal policies impacting shortage response, including support for nursing education, workforce diversity, and incentives for underserved areas; and (4) recommend solutions, including legislative and regulatory actions. The council must complete these activities and submit a report with findings and recommendations to the President, Congress, and Secretary of Health and Human Services within one year of enactment, and make the report publicly available online.
