H.R. 337 — To provide technical and financial assistance for groundwater recharge, aquifer storage, and water source substitution projects.

This section authorizes the transfer to the Secretary of $3 million for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2031 from unobligated balances made available under section 40901 of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (P.L. 117-58)—which funds state revolving loan funds for drinking water infrastructure—for groundwater recharge, aquifer storage, and water source substitution projects under section 40910(a). (Thus, up to $18 million may be transferred over six years to support projects that store excess water underground or substitute sources to combat shortages and aquifer depletion.)
