H.R. 3371 — Ensuring Security for Military Spouses Act

This section waives the three-month residency requirement in the state or USCIS district where the naturalization application is filed, under INA §319(a) (three-year naturalization path for spouses of U.S. citizens) and §316(a) (general five-year naturalization), for lawful permanent resident spouses of members of the Armed Forces serving on active duty at a location in the United States. (Thus, such spouses may apply for naturalization without satisfying that state or district residency requirement, accommodating frequent military relocations.)
