H.R. 3424 — Shared Property Agency Collaboration and Engagement Act of 2025

This section directs the Administrator of General Services, in carrying out section 2302 of the Thomas R. Carper Water Resources Development Act of 2024 (40 U.S.C. 584 note), to (1) collaborate with tenants of federally leased space to identify concerns among federal agencies regarding shared-space arrangements; (2) develop criteria to facilitate expanded space-sharing or collocating; (3) identify how special-use spaces can improve space-sharing or collocating; and (4) establish measurable objectives, in consultation with those tenants, to quantify the success of shared-space arrangements among federal agencies. The section also requires the Administrator to brief the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works on implementation of these requirements not later than six months after the date of enactment.
