H.R. 3506 — Healthy Food Financing Initiative Reauthorization Act of 2025

This section reauthorizes the Healthy Food Financing Initiative—which supports loans and grants to eligible fresh, healthy food retailers and enterprises (i.e., providers of staple foods including perishable items) to improve access to healthy foods in underserved areas, create quality jobs, and revitalize low-income communities—by providing mandatory funding from the Commodity Credit Corporation of (1) $25 million for FY2026, (2) $30 million for FY2027, (3) $35 million for FY2028, (4) $40 million for FY2029, and (5) $50 million for FY2030 and each fiscal year thereafter.
