H.R. 3666 — To For the relief of Luana S. Cordeiro.

This section grants Luana S. Cordeiro eligibility for an immigrant visa under INA §204 (8 U.S.C. 1154) or adjustment of status to lawful permanent resident under INA §245 (8 U.S.C. 1255), notwithstanding the numerical limitations on immigrant visas in INA §201(a)-(b) (8 U.S.C. 1151(a)-(b)), provided the application is filed with fees within two years of enactment. If she enters the United States before that deadline, her entry is deemed lawful for adjustment purposes; waives any grounds for inadmissibility or removal reflected in Department of Homeland Security or State Department records as of enactment (INA §§212(a), 237(a) (8 U.S.C. §§1182(a), 1227(a))); and requires rescission of any related outstanding removal order, finding of inadmissibility, or deportability. Upon granting permanent residence or a visa, the provision requires a reduction by one (during the current or next fiscal year) in family-sponsored immigrant visas available to natives of her country of birth under INA §203(a) (8 U.S.C. 1153(a)) or, if applicable, under INA §202(e) (8 U.S.C. 1152(e)). Her natural parents, brothers, and sisters receive no immigration rights, privileges, or status by virtue of that relationship.

This section specifies that the budgetary effects of this Act, for purposes of the Statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2010, are determined by reference to the latest statement titled “Budgetary Effects of PAYGO Legislation” submitted for printing in the Congressional Record by the Chairman of the House Budget Committee prior to the vote on passage.
