H.R. 3678 — Strengthening US-Caribbean Partnership Act

This section authorizes the President, under such terms and conditions as the President determines, to extend the privileges and immunities of the International Organizations Immunities Act (i.e., tax exemptions, immunity from suit, and inviolability of premises) to the Caribbean Community in the same manner, to the same extent, and subject to the same conditions as to a public international organization in which the United States participates pursuant to treaty or Act of Congress. (Thus, this enables diplomatic-like protections for Caribbean Community personnel and property in the United States.)
