H.R. 3906 — Medical Research for Our Troops Act

This section increases funding for Defense Health Agency research, development, test, and evaluation to $41,576,684,000 (from $40,395,072,000) pursuant to section 1407(1) of the Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2025 (Public Law 119-4). The section further directs the Secretary of Defense to implement Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) funds made available under such section consistent with the explanatory statement accompanying the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024 (Public Law 118-47)—including support for all identified research programs, peer-reviewed initiatives, and projects and adherence to specified funding allocations and priorities on pages 311 through 314—to preserve program continuity.
