H.R. 4196 — African Union Diplomatic Parity Act

This section amends Section 12(b) of the International Organizations Immunities Act to expand the extension of privileges and immunities to also include the Permanent Observer Mission of the African Union to the United Nations in New York and its members, equivalent to those enjoyed by permanent missions to the United Nations of member states and subject to corresponding conditions and obligations. (Previously, such privileges and immunities were extended only to the African Union Mission.)
