H.R. 4319 — Strengthening Science Through Diplomacy Act of 2025

This section authorizes the President, under terms and conditions to be determined by the President, to extend the privileges and immunities of the International Organizations Immunities Act (i.e., tax exemptions, immunity from judicial process, and other protections similar to diplomatic status) to the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). Such extension applies in the same manner, to the same extent, and subject to the same conditions as for public international organizations in which the United States participates pursuant to treaty or congressional act or appropriation.
