H.R. 4467 — Vicksburg National Military Park Boundary Modification Act

This section directs the Secretary of the Interior to convey to Mississippi, by quitclaim deed and without consideration, approximately 7.43 acres of federal land within Vicksburg National Military Park—specifically, 1.69 acres (NPS Tract 01-103) and 5.74 acres (near Union Avenue), as depicted on maps numbered 306/194,908 and 306/194,907 (both dated September 2024)—and, upon conveyance, to modify the park boundary to exclude the land. The conveyed land must be used to facilitate public access to and enhance the visitor experience at the park in a manner consistent with its interpretive mission (commemorating the Civil War Siege of Vicksburg); may not adversely impact park resources or the visitor experience; and is subject to any additional use restrictions determined by the Secretary.
