This section directs the Secretary of Education, not later than 90 days after enactment, to reissue the solicitation and award a contract under section 664(e)(1) of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (20 U.S.C. 1464(e)(1)) for the "Charting My Path for Future Success" project to a nonprofit organization, as if the contract had not previously been awarded. The project trains educators to help high school students with disabilities, their families, and schools set goals, develop action plans, and reflect on progress to build skills for school and life success (in January 2025, 61 educators began assisting 1,600 such students in 62 high schools across 13 local educational agencies following training). This section further prohibits cancellation of the new contract without congressional approval.
