This section requires the FEMA Administrator to submit to Congress by November 30 each year, beginning November 30 of the first full year after enactment, a report on courses and programs offered by the National Academy for Fire Prevention and Control during the preceding fiscal year. (As background, the Academy trains fire service personnel in fire prevention, inspection, firefighting, arson investigation, management, and related skills.) The report must include (1) the total number of fire departments with attending personnel, disaggregated by department identification and state; (2) the total number of attending fire department personnel, disaggregated by career or volunteer status; (3) the total number of courses and programs offered; (4) the total number of cancelled courses and programs; (5) funds awarded under subsection (f), disaggregated by awards to state fire service training programs and local fire service training programs; and (6) funds awarded under subsection (i) to students attending Academy courses or programs.
