H.R. 4737 — Apeel Reveal Act of 2025

This section amends the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA) to deem misbranded any fruit or vegetable bearing a covered product coating (i.e., a coating directly applied to extend shelf life, including Apeel Sciences product coatings such as Edipeel and Organipeel) unless its labeling discloses the coating. Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to issue guidance on required disclosures within 180 days of enactment, with the provision applying to produce labeled on or after one year after enactment.
