H.R. 4793 — SOS Act

This section requires the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), in its quarterly reports to the budget committees on the Old-Age and Survivors Insurance Trust Fund and Disability Insurance Trust Fund, to include a graph comparing (1) the baseline spending assumption for those trust funds under sec. 257(b)(1) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 to (2) projected outlays from the trust funds limited to amounts payable from dedicated funding sources (i.e., payroll taxes and other revenues) under current law. (Thus, the graph illustrates the projected benefit reductions after trust fund depletion.)
