H.R. 4825 — COTA Act

This section expands permissible adult education and literacy activities under WIOA for which eligible agencies may use funds by adding two new activities after subparagraph (L): (1) providing guidance on career options in high-skill, high-wage, or in-demand industry sectors or occupations in current or emerging professions (including skilled trades); and (2) raising public awareness and conducting public service announcements about career and technical education programs and community-based organizations focused on such sectors or occupations, including through social media campaigns and other endeavors. (The provision redesignates existing subparagraph (M) as (O).)
