H.R. 4828 — Blue Shield Privacy Act of 2025

This section expands the definition of restricted personal information under 18 U.S.C. 119(b) to include, in addition to home fax number, a license plate number, biometric information, workplace address, school address, or global positioning system coordinates. (Restricted personal information generally includes an individual's home address and telephone number, and its communication or publication with intent to threaten, intimidate, or facilitate a crime against certain federal personnel, witnesses, or victims is prohibited.)
