H.R. 4854 — Saving the Department of the Interior's Workforce Act

This section prohibits the Secretary of the Interior from (1) initiating or implementing any reduction in force or (2) conducting any involuntary separation (except for cause on charges of misconduct, delinquency, or performance) of employees in the competitive service, career excepted service, or career Senior Executive Service appointees at any Department of the Interior agency or bureau until full-year appropriations for the department for FY2026 are enacted into law.
