H.R. 4935 — Rural Microentrepreneur Assistance Program Act of 2025

This section amends the Rural Microentrepreneur Assistance Program, which provides loans and grants to microenterprise development organizations for training, technical assistance, and microloans to rural microentrepreneurs (i.e., owners or prospective owners of rural businesses with 10 or fewer full-time-equivalent employees), by (1) increasing the maximum microloan amount to $75,000 (from $50,000); (2) increasing the maximum grant share of project costs to 100 percent (from 75 percent) and limiting any loan under the program to not more than 50 percent of demolition, construction, or related real estate improvement costs; and (3) extending the program's authorization to 2026 through 2030 (from 2019 through 2023).
