H.R. 4962 — Toll of Tariffs Act of 2025

This section directs the United States International Trade Commission to conduct a study on the inflationary impact of tariffs imposed by executive orders issued on or after January 20, 2025, through the date of enactment of this Act. Not later than 60 days after enactment, the Commission must submit a report to Congress containing the study results and the tariffs' effects on the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) and comparable measures for non-urban areas, as determined by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
