H.R. 5124 — River’s Law

This section adds to state health and safety requirements applicable to child care providers under the Child Care and Development Block Grant program—(1) a prohibition on constructing, maintaining, or otherwise operating a pool on the premises of any facility providing such services and (2) a requirement to install door and window alarms in any such facility. (The program provides federal block grants to states to subsidize child care for low-income families to support parental employment or training.)
