H.R. 5376 — Impacts and Outcomes for Health Career Training Act

This section requires the Secretary to conduct a study of the short-, medium-, and long-term impacts of the Health Profession Opportunity Grant demonstration projects—including participants' employment and earnings—and directs the Secretary to reserve not less than 4% of the total amount made available for the program each fiscal year for that study, related evaluations, associated staffing, and analysis of new project elements. (As background, the grants support demonstration projects providing education, training, and supportive services such as child care to low-income individuals, including TANF recipients, for high-demand health care occupations.)
