H.R. 5391 — Bipartisan Bulletproof Vest Partnership Program Expansion Act

This section revises the Bulletproof Vest Partnership grant program, which provides grants to states, units of local government, and Indian tribes to purchase armor vests for law enforcement and court officers, by (1) increasing the maximum federal share of project costs to 60 percent (from 50 percent); and (2) authorizing appropriations of $60 million for each of FY2026 through FY2030.
