H.R. 5392 — Northern Arizona Protection Act

This section nullifies Presidential Proclamation 10606 of August 8, 2023, which established the Baaj Nwaavjo I’tah Kukveni-Ancestral Footprints of the Grand Canyon National Monument in Arizona under the Antiquities Act (i.e., 54 U.S.C. §320301 et seq., which authorizes the President to designate national monuments on federal lands). It prohibits any future establishment or extension of a national monument within the area depicted on the monument map dated August 5, 2023, except by express authorization of Congress.
